What keeps you up at night?

Days after the Executive Session, I finally had time to sit and reflect. It was Great! The learning was fantastic. The event was over the top. And best of all I was able to see and spend time with the people who are MJ.
But I couldn’t help but to also feel a sense of uneasiness. I thought to myself, The Executive Session is over. Now it is the time to perform. We talked about it but now the talking it over and its time.
High performance is something that makes people into giants. It is what legends are made of. But I sit here and I look around, am I surrounded by high performance? It can often be seen. When I see high performance it is one of the most beautiful things. It makes me want to jump with joy, it is invigorating. Sometimes it’s an associate who continually over performs, the one who takes initiative and doesn’t accept average. Other times it’s a Manager who consistently blows away their revenue and GSS goals. I want to see more of it, I want to see it more often…..this is what keeps me up at night.
So now, I sit and I hold up the mirror. Do I represent high performance? What is high performance to me? I think it is more than just waking up early and putting in a full day’s work. To me it is about results. High performance = big results. The mortgage is not paid by hours of work but rather paid by the successful execution of that work that created revenue.
As I eagerly look to the future, I know what my results must be. I have a plan, willpower and the drive to get there. Now the question is at your feet. What are your high performing results and how are you going to get there?
